Kaju-Anjeer, there is something divine about this combination! As promised, your protein smoothies are not going to be boring, full of harmful sugars or a punishment any more. I hope you enjoy this delicious dessert recipe.
Ingredients :
4 dried figs
10-15 raw cashews
1 cup milk
vanilla extract, a few drops
1 scoop unflavored whey protein isolate
2 egg yolks(optional)*
Preparation:
Wash dried figs and cashews very well, at least 2 times before using for this recipe.
Soak cashews and figs in 1 cup milk for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.
Method:
Add 8-10 soaked cashews, all the milk used for soaking, protein powder, soaked figs and a few drops of vanilla extract in a blending jar. Blend well.
Add the remaining cashews and pulse a couple of times. Serve chilled.
Notes:
You can add up to 3 fresh egg yolks in this recipe.
Easiest prep plan would be to soak the ingredients before your workout and enjoy the smoothie after your workout as a reward for your hard work.
