
This is a family favorite raita recipe. Cucumbers add all the magic in this recipe but my secret ingredient is the strawberries. This is a great side for Biryani or any other spicy curry dishes.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp water
1 cup whole milk yoghurt
2 tbsp strawberries, finely chopped(optional)
2 tbsp onions, finely chopped
2 tbsp tomatoes, chopped
2 tbsp cucumbers, finely chopped
2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
1 tsp mint, chopped(optional)
salt to taste
1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
1 pinch black pepper powder
1/4 tsp chili powder(optional)
1/4 tsp lemon juice or dried mango powder, I prefer lemon juice.
Method:
Mix all the ingredients
Serve chilled
